We decided to just do the neighborhood trick-or-treat thing this year. I think Jackson really enjoyed himself. He did pretty good on the whole candy thing. Too bad we only let him have about 5 pieces a day....maybe....if he eats his meals. Phillip and I don't really eat much candy. Between Halloween and all the other holidays where Jackson gets candy, we always end up throwing candy away after we've had it for a while. Anyway, here are some pics.

I'll take the Skittles if he doesn't want them.
That's a lot of named candy.
What a handsome Ninja Turtle!!
The kids got a ton of stuff at Family Ton-O-Fun night at church. You know what I do with some of the candy? I use the little M&M packets to bake M&M cookies. Sometimes I chop up peanut butter cups to put in peanut butter cookies. The kids can't eat all that candy, so I use it instead of tossing it. Another good thing to do (I heard this on KSBJ) is freeze the chocolate candy and take it out a day before to put out in candy dishes at Thanksgiving and Christmas for guests to snack on.
By the way, I finally posted Halloween pics of my little munchkins.
