Phillip and I are going to this workshop on Saturday. We are still kind of unsure of the direction that we need to go. We want to have high hopes for our future family but it is difficult for us to think positively. We hope to gain useful information at this workshop. We both think that adoption may be a very real part of our future some day. If you think about it, please pray for us and the other couples that will be there that day. Many people who consider adoption have had many years of pain that lead them to that decision. We will be in a room filled with pain and hope. Thanks.

God bless you for at least investigating the option and being sensitive enough to understand the depth of the situation you might be walking into. Too many people tend to focus only on the hope of the adoption sitution without acknowledging that some sort of pain often leads to that situation. But God is the great physician...
Our prayers are definitely with you while you attend this workshop and begin to gain information & hopefully feel some kind of direction from God.
I'm with Andy, how'd it go? Were there many people there? Did you gain any info you might not have already known? And the biggy....can you adopt a child/baby for less than 25,000.?
