Hintze Christmas morning - 1st batch of pictures

I don't have time to caption all of these. I'm sure you can figure out what's going on anyway.

First picture, Mikey about to hit Scott with a tambourine...Scott cowering in anticipation.

My new (used) camera, a Canon G7. For the times I don't want to haul my real camera around.

Last picture, Mikey throwing the ball at my camera.

Precious. Let me know what you think about the G7 because I am fixing to buy the G9 or G10. Wanted to get some feedback before I do. I need a p&s for Disney World and don't want to haul mine. : )

I'm not sure about the camera yet. Inside it's not very impressive. I will have to use my speedlite on the hot shoe if I use it inside. It's pretty noisy even at iso 200. I haven't really had a chance to try it outside yet. It's got a delay on it that I'm not used to. The g9 or g10 may be better about those things. I'm just not totally sure I can get used to it. I would pretty much use it as a better than nothing option.

I don't mean to sound like I don't like the gift at all. I asked Phillip to get it for me and I'm glad to be able to test it out. I'm just not sure yet if I'll use it enough to justify keeping it. We buy and sell stuff all the time. I like having the video option, though.

I know what you mean and that's why I haven't gotten a point and shoot. I haven't found one that has a fast turn around and I am scared I'll never be happy with the result. I'll have to do somemore investigating before April. I just don't want to lug that big camera everywhere, but it may happen anyway.
